Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. First, I got to call my Mom in Namibia on Skype. I love that I can call them and it costs nothing. That is so cool. Then, we got to call Ryan in Mexico. He sounds so good.

Everyone came over. We had Sean, Brooke, and Finn; Kyle, Whit, Gavin, and Parker; Coryne, Eric, and Brenna; and Joe and I. It was a house full and it was so much fun. Brooke took some great pictures and I'm posting a couple of them.

A great time was had by all. Dinner was kind of sad, I WAY overcooked the ham and the scalloped potatoes were pretty scary and runny. (The salad was good.) But, Sean made some amazing cupcakes with buttercream frosting that made up for everything else. They were so good. I should just let him be the family chef. He is really good at it.

Well, it's seems that I'm not much of a blogger. I just realized that I don't have a picture of Finny on this blog. So, here he is! Isn't he too cute? He is so fun and soft and cuddly. We don't get to see him enough. (I hate being a working Grandma.) But, when we do, it is great fun.
