Concert

Brenna's beginning band concert was this week. For a group of kids that has only been playing for 7 months, I was very impressed. Here are a couple of pictures from the concert. Sorry about the red eyes. I can't make them go away. The video sound isn't the greatest, but it gives you an idea of how good they sounded. We are very very proud of Brenna!

Greek Day

It was Greek Day for the Sixth Graders and Roosevelt Middle School last Friday. Here are a couple of shots of Brenna, Rylee, and Nicole in their togas. They were beautiful Greek maidens.

Shiny Rims

So, Joe got a bee in his bonnet a few days ago and decided to clean the rims on the Suburban. They were BLACK with road dust and it was not just going to wipe off. In fact, it wouldn't come off even with soap and water.

So Joe made a trip to the auto supply store and came home with a concoction that he mixed up, and voila! After a lot of elbow grease, here is the result. VERY NICE!

Sunday Fun

,

Kyle, Whit, Gavin, and Parker came home with us after church yesterday. We all hung out and had a lot of fun together. As I was making dinner, I happened to look into the living room and saw Brenna reading to Gavin and Parker. I ran to get my camera. When I peeked back in, Parker saw me with the camera and gave me a big smile. He is already posing and he's not even a year old. What a ham!

Later in the day, Brenna brought her rat, Dumbo, downstairs to play with Gavin. She took this video of them together.

Stake Young Artists Festival

Tonight was our Stake's first annual Young Artists Festival. It was an opportunity for all Primary age children in the Stake to share their talents. They had a stake primary choir, a musical program, art displayed, and desserts prepared by the children.

It was a rousing success and was really fun to attend. Brenna played her flute. She has only been playing for about six months, soI was very proud of her for her willingness to get up in front of all those people and play and........she did a GREAT job! The sound in the video I took is not very good. It keeps skipping, but it will give you an idea of how wonderful she was.

We are very proud of you Brenna!
